First, decide which custom domain you want to use for your website. You have two options:

Apex Domain (Top-Level Domain): An apex domain is in the format domain.TLD (e.g., vuedev.com or aliciajones.fitness).
Subdomain: A subdomain is part of an existing domain, in the format subdomain.domain.TLD (e.g., videos.jazzguitar.com or my.jazzguitar.com).

---

To configure an apex domain for your website:

👉🏼 TIP: Copy and paste the IP addresses from the table above into your DNS control panel to avoid errors.

---

To configure a subdomain for your website:

Log into the DNS control panel for your domain.
Add a CNAME record:
Set the "Name" or "Host" to your chosen subdomain (e.g., my, videos, go, etc.).
Set the "Data" or "Target" to app.purple.is.

record type	name / host	data / target
CNAME	my	app.purple.is
